Mahalo to Kinga Fekete from Manchester, England for this pretty Aloha Friday Photo. Kinga tells us that this picture was taken from the grounds of the Mauna Lani Resort on Hawaii’s Huge Island.
From this picture, you may see the sting of one of many many brackish fishponds surrounded by palm bushes. Off within the distance, you may see considered one of Hawaii Island’s tall, volcanic mountains.
I’m unsure which mountain this one is, however my guess could be Mauna Kea. Whether it is Mauna Kea, it’s the tallest mountain in all of Hawaii. Mauna Kea stands at 13,803 ft (4,207 meters) above sea stage.
As you may inform from Kinga’s picture, the grounds on the Mauna Lani Resort are pretty. If you’re visiting the Huge Island, however not staying inside the resort, you will discover free, public parking at Kalahuipua’a Historic Park and comply with the quick path in the direction of the fishponds and ocean. Alongside the best way, you may search for petroglyphs. And, should you occur to be on this space round lunch or meal time, Napua, which is considered one of our favorite Big Island restaurants, is right here, too.
Completely happy Aloha Friday!
