Ashley took this photograph whereas visiting Oahu in November 2018. On this nice seize, you’ll be able to see the usBattleship Missouri Memorial, also referred to as the Mighty Mo, to the left. Within the foreground, you’ll be able to see the usArizona Memorial.

Many individuals see these two Pearl Harbor icons as representations of the beginning and end of World Struggle II from the United State’s perspective. The usArizona Memorial stands as a reminder of the assault on December 7, 1941, which finally led to the United State’s full engagement within the battle. The usMissouri represents an finish to the battle, as a result of it was aboard this battleship that Japan signed the Instrument of Give up in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.
